Walks take place on Tuesdays and alternate between mornings and afternoons. Everyone is welcome, including dogs, so if you would like to come along then we will be delighted to see you. Specific information about each months walks including the time and meet point will be available each month.

About the event
Our May walk will be in the beautiful countryside between West Peckham and Shipbourne. It will begin at 10am on Tuesday 26th May on the Common at Shipbourne (opposite the tennis courts), about 20 minutes’ drive from Mereworth. There is plenty of free parking on the roadside. We shall walk down to Back Lane, along its wide grass verge, then across the fields to the woods of Hoad Common and Dene Park. Following the wide straight woodland footpath to Puttenden Road, we shall then cut across Clearhedges Wood to the fields alongside the River Bourne. After a brief stroll along Hampton’s Road we shall pass the fish farm and head towards the Kentish Rifleman pub. Resisting its temptations we shall then head west towards Fairlawne Home Farm before emerging onto Shipbourne Common. The walk will take about two hours and is roughly four miles.
